Based on the river that runs right by the artist's property, this rug features small amounts of Viscose  for contrast.

Ilana is a former naturalist whose very successful artworks derive from her extensive experience observing nature, combining different scenes as well as different moments, conveying her sense of how they connect.

She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards. Her work has been acquired by the Berkeley Art Museum,  the Museum of Fine Arts, the US Embassy, Sarajevo, Bosnia/Herzegovina and the Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ballycastle, Ireland, among many others. Her works also appear in many private and corporate collections.
